Job Summary:

SCREEN SPE is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to support IBM service contract CWW Nights. Tool sets supported include FC3100, SU3200's, and 200mm equipment (SU2000, CW2000, SK80EX). Daily activities include engaging in all safety systems (SMBWA, Good Catch, Safety Stand-down, etc.), log checks, process history analysis, alarm check, in-fab and remote tool support, customer relations and support, data entry for tracking spreadsheets and tool manual information research for parts and tool upgrades. The FSE will be performing in-depth maintenance activities both preventive and as-needed repairs for failed components. FSE’s will work in conjunction with the customer’s MT’s and provide training and support as needed. Work schedule could include M-F, CWW, Day and Night shift schedules. Salary Range: $35.00 - $55.00 Per Hour

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

FSE should have a basic understanding of the following:

Electro/Pneumatic high precision troubleshooting and repair (air/liquid/mechanical/electrical/robot systems).

Electrical and Fluid diagram familiarity. Chemical handling familiarly (protective equipment and hazards).

Metric hand tool familiarity (use of specialized tools and jigs).

Be able to perform basic tool body and associated support hardware installation, facilitation, setup and teaching up to and including process acceptance.

Job Requirements:

Basic computer skills (Windows XP & Windows 10, Microsoft Office and SharePoint).

Patience and caution for critical activities such as robot teaching, wafer running and nozzle teaching.

A positive “Can Do” outlook and demeanor with customer and fellow engineers.

A strong “Safety First” attitude about all aspects of working with SCREEN.

An open attitude about expanding job activities beyond tool-based work (working that benefits the company as a whole).

Be able to learn further tool sets.

Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds.

Will require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.

Be able to travel abroad for training and additional support.

Must have a valid passport and REAL ID for immediate travel.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree; or

Associate's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or

8 years of related experience in lieu of degree; or

Completion of military technical training and field experience may substitute for an Associate's Degree
