Description

TRACK PROCESS ENGINEER:

SCREEN is seeking a talented Process Engineer to qualify and sustain coat/develop tracks in a Tier 1 high-volume semiconductor wafer fabrication site. In this role, you will work collaboratively with customer's equipment/process team and SCREEN Japan resources to maintain the best-known methods and develop innovative hardware and process solutions to meet customer requirements. The key responsibilities of this position include qualifying and sustaining coater/developer equipment in a high-volume manufacturing site, acting as a technical interface with customers and technologists, collaborating with factory and field engineers on process and tool-related challenges such as tool matching and technical transfer from other manufacturing sites, optimizing processes, and enhancing performance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for process specification responses and negotiations, as well as installation and quality initiatives. Prepare clear documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The desired candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience using coat and develop track tools, with knowledge of semiconductor wafer processing using state-of-the-art coat/develop track tools at a device manufacturer and/or semiconductor equipment manufacturer being preferred. Experience in identifying and implementing hardware CIP to enhance process performance is desirable. Strong working knowledge of experimental design, statistical analysis tools, and statistical process control is also necessary for this role. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and interact effectively with customers (both internal and external). Moreover, the candidate should have the ability to lead and direct multifunctional teams to support and achieve customer objectives and perform root cause analysis and reporting using industry-related methodologies. The role entails starting up a new facility from scratch.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

M.S. / B.S. / Ph.D. Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or Physics.
