Job Summary:
The Mod IQ Install Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing equipment installations and modification (Mod) activities, including tool upgrades, design‑change integration, and new equipment installs. This role ensures high‑quality execution, schedule adherence, and strong customer alignment. The position requires regular travel to customer sites to supervise installation projects, support field teams, and maintain strong customer relationships. Salary Range: $110,000 - $175,000
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Installation & Modification Management:
- Develop and implement installation and Mod execution strategies to ensure smooth, timely, high‑quality project completion.
- Maintain up‑to‑date installation and Mod procedures, documentation, and work instructions, and incorporate field feedback for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate technical and administrative activities related to installations, design‑change implementation, materials readiness, and post‑install handoff.
- Lead installation teams with clear priorities and expectations, ensuring consistent execution across customer sites.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Assist with recruitment, supervise and guide team members to support high‑quality installation work.
- Maintain staffing levels aligned with project demand.
- Ensure the team receives required safety and technical training and certifications.
- Conduct coaching discussions, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
- Develop individual growth plans aligned with organizational goals.
Performance & Quality Assurance:
- Establish and track KPIs related to install quality, schedule adherence, and Mod consistency.
- Drive improvements to reduce rework and improve installation efficiency.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Represent SCREEN during installation and Mod‑related customer meetings.
- Engage with customers to clarify requirements, surface issues early, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Present installation status, technical content, and project updates to customer teams, including management-level audiences.
Technical Coordination & Escalation:
- Partner with technical support, product engineering, process engineering, and factory specialists to resolve installation or Mod‑related issues.
- Manage installation-related escalations until full resolution.
Cross‑Functional Communication:
- Coordinate with field service, Mod project groups, and sales to ensure smooth departmental interfaces and post‑install transitions.
- Collaborate with Parts Logistics to ensure install kits, Mod components, and design‑change materials arrive on time.
- Provide installation and Mod feedback to engineering and factory teams.
Administrative Oversight:
- Maintain accurate installation documentation, progress tracking, and reporting.
- Support planning tools related to installation scheduling, resource allocation, and project management.
Job Requirements:
- Proven supervisory experience; prior leadership roles are strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment installation, upgrades, or modification work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective interpersonal and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to create clear, effective presentation materials and present confidently to all levels of customer management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for communication, reporting, and planning.
- Strong commitment to customer value and high‑quality installation performance.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams and with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Experience in multicultural or global environments.
- Preferred: Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or similar certifications.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Must have a valid passport and REAL ID for immediate travel.
Education & Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience
